It costs you nothing, and it can change the lives of many creatures
When you file your taxes in Poland, you can choose to give 1.5% of your income tax to a public benefit organisation (OPP) of your choice instead of the State Treasury.
This means that not only do you lose nothing, you also decide directly where your money goes.

Why give?
We are a public benefit organisation that has been steadily pursuing its goals for more than 5 years: we not only rescue harmed animals, we also give them medical care, shelter and representation in court. You can find us in the OPP register of the National Freedom Institute.
All money we receive from 1.5% tax contributions will be spent on the Foundation’s statutory goals:
- Helping harmed and abandoned animals. This includes, among other things: buying food, medicine, veterinary and farrier services for our animals; building environmental enrichment, shelters, feeders and medical stations; transporting animals, and transporting people during interventions.
- Science, education and upbringing in animal protection, the environment and ecology. Together with the Mushika Foundation we run an Educational Project – a place to learn about animals and the environment. Extra funds will let us grow our work and significantly broaden our curriculum.
- Working for the humane treatment of animals, respect for them, and their protection and care. We are planning campaigns that promote seeing animals as sentient beings who experience emotions and have the right to life and to meeting the needs of their species. To reach as many people as possible (and sometimes a very specific group, e.g. politicians) we need funds for promotional and educational materials such as posters, newsletters and leaflets.
Over 90% of our annual budget goes directly to the animals as food and veterinary care.
