Cows
The cows living at Ktosiowo belong to the Fundacja Instytut Empatii (Empathy Institute Foundation), but they are staying with us until a suitable new home is ready for them at the Pegasus Shelter.
Our part is the daily care of this small horned herd, keeping their enclosures clean, repairing shelters and feeders, dietary extras such as salt licks and vitamins, and environmental enrichment such as toys, scratching posts, treats and flower garlands.
There are currently 4 cows at Ktosiowo.
Ktosiowo runs on balance: Janina is in charge, Brunhilda meditates, Marysia melts hearts and Floki… stirs things up. Together they make the closest-knit bunch of cows under the sun!
