Renata Wójcik

President

Founder of the Foundation. She holds a postgraduate degree in animal law and has campaigned for animal rights for years. Exceptionally sensitive and empathetic, she always puts the animals’ welfare first. Her determination, knowledge and heart made it possible to create a foundation that gives a chance of a better life to those who cannot defend themselves. Through her work and passion she proves every day that caring for animals is not just a duty but a mission.

Sylwia Karpińska

Board member

A sociologist by training. At the foundation she is our social media specialist and a master of planning and managing online content. In private life she is a mum of two who tackles everyday challenges with the same energy and precision as at work. Organised and reliable, she always meets deadlines and pays attention to detail. She cares deeply about animal welfare, with a heart open to every creature in need.

Dawid Koziński

Animal carer

Ktosiowo’s handyman and a man of many talents. On duty 24 hours a day. He can fix, build, weld, move and fasten things so that they work (or at least look like they work). He makes sure the sanctuary runs as it should: the fences are solid, the troughs have water, and the animals are warm and safe. He never says no when asked for help. He has a soft spot for green peas and plain wafers, and an inexplicable dislike of mayonnaise.

Zofka Jabłońska

Animal carer

ADHD in its purest form. A lawyer by training, she has tried many things in search of her dream job, from carpentry to tattooing – in a word, a working woman who isn’t afraid of any job. She also has a huge heart for animals. She loves helping, especially those in need, and she pursues that passion at Ktosiowo, where she is both an animal carer and a DIY enthusiast. In private life she is a mum to 3 cats and a fan of zumba and true crime podcasts.

Vesna Redesiuk

ANIMAL BEHAVIOURIST AND CARER

Formerly an art director at CD Projekt RED, now a behaviourist for even-toed ungulates, cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles and exotic animals.

At the sanctuary she is a carer and animal trainer, and she also makes sure everything works. She loves building environmental enrichment for our animals and arranging their enclosures so they can show as many natural behaviours as possible. You will recognise her by her dungarees and hat.
