Transparency is more than an obligation for the Ktoś, nie coś Foundation. Above all, it is one of the values that has always guided our organisation. That is why on 9 July 2026 our team published our 2025 reports in the NIW database and on our website.

Every non-governmental organisation must prepare two basic documents. The financial report shows where the money came from and how it was spent. The second document, the activity report, describes what the organisation did during the year: every goal it achieved and the results of its work.
A foundation or association that keeps full accounts must prepare and approve a financial report and file it with the National Revenue Administration. Public benefit organisation (OPP) status also obliges an organisation to publish its reports in the NIW database and make them publicly available. In 2026 the final deadline for publication was 15 July.
The Ktoś, nie coś Foundation has had OPP status since 17 February 2023. Even before we received it, our reports were available on the Foundation’s website, and we also submitted them to the relevant minister. We did this not because we had to, but because we believe that people who support civil society organisations have the right to know how we work and what we spend their money on.
Let’s set good standards together
We encourage other organisations to publish their reports on their own websites, even when the law does not directly require it. It is the simplest step towards building trust and credibility and raising standards across the whole third sector.
