Felek

Felek is a cheeky little pony in the best sense of the word. Quick-witted, bright and very intelligent – he uses his head for various “projects”, usually very profitable… for himself. We really don’t recommend messing with Felek – he is always one step ahead.

He is also an example of a horse who was abandoned at a veterinary clinic in the middle of treatment. Felek is a horse with a disability – he had major knee surgery. When we were asked to take Felek into the sanctuary as an abandoned horse, lawyers stepped in and sorted out his legal situation, so that Felek could finally become a fully fledged member of the Ktosiowo family.

What happened next is impossible to forget. His joy when he arrived at the sanctuary and could join the herd of ponies was something truly special. Moments like these are what life is really worth living for. Although we don’t know how long his joints will keep working, Felek doesn’t worry about it at all. He enjoys life to the full – cleverly, boldly and in his own way. And that is exactly how it should be.
