Penelopa (Penne)

She is the gentlest of all our goats. She needed a lot of time to find her place in the herd and to come to like human touch. Now she happily comes running to greet visitors and to check whether they might have any walnuts - her favourite treat.
When she runs, her ears take on a life of their own - they swing in every direction, which is a hilarious sight.
She isn't fond of rain and always looks for dry shelter, although if she's very hungry, even the rain doesn't bother her.
If she trusts you, you may be the lucky one she lies down next to on the hay and falls asleep with her head in your lap. She has very vivid dreams, as you can tell from her twitching in her sleep.
She has the funniest smile at the sanctuary, for which she always uses all her lower, slightly protruding teeth.
