Leszek
Lesio is the youngest member of the family — he was born right here at our sanctuary in April 2024, the son of Gruszka. His mum came to us pregnant after being seized in an intervention and after a court ruling that guaranteed the whole family's safety.
From the first moments of his life, Lesio has known people as something good. He is tame, sociable and loves closeness — especially having his rump scratched, which makes him enormously happy. He is a symbol of how much an animal's fate changes as soon as it gets a chance at a life without fear. Lesio is cheerful, open and carefree – exactly as a foal should be when, from his very first day, he has known nothing but care and calm.
