Pietruszka

At the time of the intervention, Pietruszka was the youngest child of Gruszka. She was taken away together with her mum and sister, and under a final court ruling she became a fully fledged resident of Ktosiowo. When she was taken in, she was still being fed by Gruszka, who — despite the extreme conditions — did everything she could to look after her foal.
Pietruszka, like Natka, was at first wild and wary of people. She needed patience, calm and time. Today, thanks to a stable routine and the daily presence of familiar carers, she is making huge progress. She is piebald and hard to tell apart from her sister, full of energy and more and more curious about the world.
