Amber
Amber came to Ktosiowo straight from the horse market in Skaryszew – together with Adaś and Mewa. She is a beautiful bay roan mare born in 2018, who showed from the very first moment that there is something special about her.
Strength – physical and mental – is her middle name. Amber knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to show it. When she arrived, she immediately took Adaś under her protective wing, as if she had been his foster mum for years. It was thanks to her that Adaś learnt calm, confidence and everyday horse life. But Amber isn’t just caring – she also has a very… strong personality. She definitely doesn’t like being shut in a stable. For her, real life happens under the shelter, in the open, with the wind in her mane. And when visitors appear on the horizon? Amber instantly takes the lead, as if to say:
“Go ahead, ladies and gentlemen, you may start admiring me – I’m ready.”
She is listened to in the herd, commands respect, and her look says clearly: “I’m the queen here and I’m happy with that.”
We still have some work ahead on consistency and rules, because Amber loves her new freedom so much that she would happily set the rules herself. But one thing is certain – she is an exceptional mare, beautiful and full of life. And she very much needs her own virtual guardian who will love her just as she is: strong, determined and loyal.
