Ponies

Ponies are smaller than horses, but that doesn’t mean they need less care. Ponies are often given as presents and bought as toys. When they “break”, often because of poor feeding or human neglect, their owners get rid of them like an unwanted problem.

When you adopt a pony, you give them not only food but also regular visits from the farrier and salt licks, and you give our team the funds to repair their shelters, fences and feeders. Like horses, ponies also need regular vaccinations, worming and dental check-ups.

Many of our horses and ponies also need medical care in the form of a daily dose of medicines and dietary supplements.

There are currently 12 ponies at Ktosiowo.
